In the current essay I will represent a volunteer recruitment package for a sport club. It should be noted that a volunteer – is a person who volunteered at different kinds of service. Volunteering – is a wide range of activities, including traditional forms of mutual aid and self-help, formal service delivery and other forms of civic participation, which is voluntary for the benefit of the public without expectation of reward. The activities of charitable organizations are in need of support from volunteers. In order to organize volunteer activities, on the one hand, there are created vacancies for volunteers in charitable organizations, on the other hand – there is formed a circle of supporting organizations and volunteer corps members own charities that are willing to participate in a free labor for the benefit of the needy. This unpaid work is a kind of patronage, according to Volunteering (2010).
The concept of volunteer activities in often a substitute for the concept of “social activity”, which refers to any useful work for the good of society. Volunteerism is directed primarily to help segments of the population who are in need, and who can not help themselves (old age, homelessness, disability, natural disasters, social upheavals), according to Volunteering project ideas (2010).
Volunteer Motivations. Altruism, presented in volunteers, helps them to seek the benefit for others without receiving any financial reward for it. Solidarity: it works not only to others but with others, feeling their problems themselves, as the remedial actions and the benefits as well. Quality of life: helping others makes them feel good volunteers. Return for favors received: people who benefited from the volunteer work he received from other returned to society. Religious Beliefs: Faith moves the faithful volunteers. Increase of the employment opportunities: many employers value volunteer work (for the initiative, responsibility, etc. of those who do). Volunteering is especially useful for finding work in the social field. Increase social relationships: Through volunteering is it generally known to many people. In addition, volunteers who are dedicated to one thing, often have common interests, according to How Volunteer Recruitment Works (2010).
Volunteering can be understood in a broad sense as transcending the boundaries of paid work and normal duties, convinced that the activity to make it useful to humanity and oneself. It is in these terms which can deepen the meaning of the humanitarian spirit and compassionate people. Terminology “The word” voluntary, applied to a person, does not necessarily to work without pay, but works on its own will, without external imposition.
Types of volunteering. For areas of action:
Volunteering in social action: the one which works on a project in the country where they reside and in fields such as disability, migration, exclusion, etc. Environmental volunteering: is that related to projects in defense and protection of the environment and animals. Volunteering in emergencies: is that related to specific crises and disasters, such as natural disasters that devastate populations or spills like the Prestige. Volunteering in Cooperation is related to projects developed in a community belonging to a different country that you live. Cultural volunteer: the one who helps to organize activities in art galleries, museums, libraries and other places or entities associated with culture. Within this, it is interesting case of linguistic volunteers which promotes collaboration in teaching and promoting the use of a language. Volunteer sports: refers to participation in a sporting activity through an association or a club, for example. Volunteer Events: involves collaboration in organizing events, according to International volunteer (2010).
