Analytical Report: Peacekeeping job

Introduction

Peacekeeping is my favorite job but, at the moment, this is the job I can just dream of. Nevertheless, I believe that peacekeeping is important job and people should be concerned with peacekeeping worldwide. Otherwise, the world may face considerable problems and steadily wreak in havoc. In fact, wars are the major threat to the mankind because they lead to numerous casualties and undermine basic principles of humanity. They threaten to the world community and put under a threat the survival of the mankind, if wars go out of control. In such a situation, peacekeeping is exactly what keeps wars under control. Moreover, peacekeeping helps the world community to spread military conflicts internationally. Instead, peacekeeping forces can localize military conflicts and help to solve them without numerous casualties and long-lasting wars. Therefore, peacekeeping is essential for the contemporary world and for the maintenance of peace worldwide. On the other hand, peacekeeping is beneficial for the personal development of peacekeepers because they face hardships of people suffering from wars and, thus, they learn the importance and true value of peace.

In fact, I have always dreamed of becoming a peacekeeper. At first glance, it was not a very prospective job in terms of career development. At the same time, peacekeepers are very responsible people and individuals are highly concerned with their professional development because they have to be careful in their work and prevent any negative effects of their work. In contrast, peacekeepers should prevent any growth of tension, when performing their professional duties because their failure is likely to provoke the bloodshed that may undermine the effectiveness of peacekeeping and undermine stability in regions, where peacekeepers attempt to stop military conflicts.

At the same time, it is important to place emphasis on the fact that the world is in war and many people suffer from war. In actuality, wars are widely-spread and many people suffer from military conflicts. In fact, the state of war is probably the natural state for humans because wars accompanied people throughout their history and, today, in spite of the progress of democracy and human society, wars still persist and affect consistently the development of the contemporary world. In this regard, it is worth mentioning the fact that many regions of the world suffer from wars. In this respect, it is possible to name Africa, Middle East, and South East Asia. In fact, even the most stable regions of the world, such as Europe are still vulnerable to military conflicts. For instance, the Balkan region is one of the regions of tension in Europe and stability in this region is uncertain. Today, North Africa becomes another region, where the tension grows and military conflicts are going to outburst in the region. In such a situation, peacekeeping is essential to maintain stability in these regions worldwide. At any rate, people cannot solve their problems without the assistance of peacekeeping.
