This implies that a BCP should cover all preventive measures and recovery when there is a contingency affecting the business, as described in A guide to business community planning.
Business Continuity Plan (BCP) is the result of applying an interdisciplinary approach, called Culture BCM, used to create and validate logistical plans for the practice of how an organization should recover and restore their critical functions partially or fully interrupted within a predetermined time after an interruption or disaster. These plans are called Business Continuity Plans. The logistical plan is also called a Business Continuity Plan.
It is essential to note that “Business Continuity Plan is how an organization prepares for future incidents that could jeopardize the organization and its long-term basic mission”, as stated in Business Continuity and disaster recovery planning: the basics. The incidents included in the construction of incidents such as fires, earthquakes and regional events, national incidents like pandemic illnesses.
It should be noted that the processes of planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance in developing this plan are extremely important and there have to be a certain cooperation between them.
