Since October 2009 because of various technical problems Toyota had to recall nearly 8 million vehicles worldwide. The Head of the Japanese Toyota Motor Corp. apologized for recalls around the world and announced the creation of a special committee on quality.
It is necessary to point out, that Toyota has recalled more than 8 million vehicles worldwide in the past few months in connection with the defects that threaten the safety of cars, in models that are in great demand. Also the president promised that this recall will be held with minimum problems and troubles for customers. For example dealers are providing a lot of customer-focused activities, for example free car washes and oil changes, providing complimentary maintenance service and other. To support these efforts, the company’s management said that “Toyota is sending checks money to its dealers for the additional costs they are assuming to make it easier for customers to have the necessary repairs done quickly and conveniently”.
