This paper introduces the information on three types of customers such as external, internal, and halal ones. It discusses these types of customers you may meet in the superstore and their needs and expectations, and thus highlights the major difference between them.

Generally speaking, the external customers are the individuals or organizations that buy the company’s products and goods and are from outside the market’s organization. A good example of this type of customer is a shopper who visits the superstore in order to purchase some goods or products.

In turn, the internal consumers can be everyone within the company: another branch, department, co-worker, etc. High customer satisfaction is very essential for the internal customers. In turn, the best way to achieve an effective and productive output is to satisfy your internal customers. Thus, any company has to determine and understand both external and internal customers, and therefore meet their main expectations and needs.

The halal customers are those individuals, who purchase some products that do not violate Islamic dietary restrictions, in Halal stores. The customers buy such products in Halal stores because they trust that this meat is 100 percent Halal and is acceptable in accordance with Islamic laws.

The major differences between these three types of customers are that the external customer is someone who receives the products from the company and is not a part of it. In turn, the internal customer can be considered to be some department, branch, employees, supervisors and other personnel of the firm. The halal customer is someone who purchases Halal food that is permitted according to Islamic rules.

Taking the above-mentioned information into consideration, it is possible to draw a conclusion that the major expectations of any customer are as follows: high quality of products, rational prices, excellent customer services, knowledge-based employees, and pleasant staff.
