Ethnic Conflict Research Paper

BACKGROUND

Ethnic conflict is occurring all around the globe. From Sudan, South Africa, and Afghanistan to Armenia, Bosnia, and the Middle East, from Brazil and Peru to many cities in the United States, people of different ethnic backgrounds are at war with one another. Sometimes the reasons for their hostilities are shrouded in history. Often the struggles involve religion and power. Whatever the original cause, bitter ethnic hatred has caused death, heartache and despair.
