BACKGROUND

Madeleine L’Engle is a prolific writer of fiction, poetry, plays and nonfiction for both children and adults. Best known for her Time Fantasy series, she combines fantasy, science fiction and a cast of recurring characters that have captured the imagination of young adults and children for decades.
