The Holocaust Research Paper

BACKGROUND

The Holocaust, also called Hitler’s Final Solution, was the systematic genocide of the Jewish people and certain minority groups, such as Gypsies and homosexuals. Between 1941 and 1945 these people were transported to concentration camps, where over 5 million were put to death. Many others died from illness and malnutrition. At the end of World War II, Allied forces liberated the death camps.
